Petro Does Not Accept Colombia's Election Results
about 11 hours ago339 readers
Colombia's outgoing president Gustavo Petro does not accept the result from the first round of the presidential election. After 99.8 percent of votes have been counted, a second round is expected between Donald Trump-loyal right-wing candidate Abelardo de la Espriella (44 percent) and left-wing senator Iván Cepeda (41 percent), who is allied with Petro. Both Petro and Cepeda are questioning the result and claim that hundreds of thousands of votes were counted incorrectly.
