Tidö parties reach agreement on solution for teenage deportations

The government and Sweden Democrats have reached an agreement on a solution to reduce the number of teenage deportations. The age limit for family reunification is being raised from 18 to 21 years, and young people whose deportation decisions became final after January 1, 2025 can apply anew for residence permits. Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson presented the agreement at a press conference in Norrköping.
